Founded in 2002, Marrek Companies was created to meet the evolving demands of the construction and facilities management industry with a personalized, client-focused approach. Marrek Companies was founded by President and CEO Rick Pastore, whose 25+ year career has been defined by accelerated advancement, top-tier performance, and the ability to build high-performing teams. Rick’s deep expertise spans Integrated Facilities Management, Construction Management, Real Estate Operations, and large-scale project leadership across global and enterprise environments.

Before launching Marrek, Rick served in senior leadership roles managing multimillion-dollar operations, large regional facility portfolios, capital programs, and high-profile client relationships. His career includes:

• Leading $30M P&L operations across the U.S. and Canada

• Directing teams of 250+ employees across engineering and facility services

• Managing 1,000+ financial and corporate facilities representing over 10 million sq. ft.

• Generating millions in cost savings through efficiency, process improvement, and strategic vendor partnerships

• Developing national safety, procurement, and operational standardization programs

• Recognized as a Top Performer, global Top Talent selection, and mentor to emerging leaders
   

This extensive background—combined with over 92 years of combined family experience in the industry—shaped the foundation of Marrek’s values: operational excellence, transparency, and client-centered solutions.
